Most of the story with the son is wrong. It wasn’t after his birthday is was a couple months before his 13th birthday (07-20-89) is the birthday… he didn’t have the blindfold off when he got stabbed and he also didn’t fell the grass under his feet. He felt that he was walking on dirt and when asked to sit down he said he didn’t want to since he was wearing new shorts but did anyways. After he sat down that’s when he felt the knife go into his neck. He then turned around and threw the blindfold off and saw the knife in her hand and he kicked her. He got up asking how could you do this to me then he saw a house around 900 feet away and ran to it. The whole time she was saying it is ok I slipped but he ran anyways. He didn’t even know he got stabbed more then once until he was at the hospital and the Dr. said ok we got one stitched up now it’s time to do the other two
So much of this story is inaccurate. Sounds like you put your own twist to it to make it a better story for your readers.
